Canelim and Al Tonic

Postby DoiMi » Mon Mar 26, 2007 12:34 pm

A close friend of mine has asked me to pass this on. A few people in her family are currently suffering various cancers ranging from leukemia to cancer of the liver and bowels at various stages and recieving chemo. She has researched natural alternatives and has come up with two, Canelim and AL Tonic. Does anybody have any information about these, what they are made of etc?

I did a little bit of looking into them and they contain some herbs commonly used against cancer in TCM except no ling zhi or xiang ren.
Canelim from what one site sells it contains
Radix Curcumae 23.5% http://www.herbasin.com/database/yujin.htm
Yu jin- I have had curcuma and it felt quite cleansing it has been used in cancer trials.
Frutus Aurantii 45.5% http://www.herbasin.com/database/zhishi.htm
Zhi shi good for stasis and phlegm
Faeces Trogopteror 18%ihttp://www.herb.damo-qigong.net/g005.htm
Wu Ling Zhi- Possom Poo apparently good for cancer but not to be taken with ginseng.
Herba Agrimoniae 13% http://alternativehealing.org/xian_he_cao.htm this site mentions a good congee to be made with it. cites its use for cancer

The Al Tonic primarily consists of two herbs Huang Qi and Nu zhen zi and i think various people add herbs depending on individual symptoms. They are two herbs which work well in that they provide yin yang, detoxify calm as well as tonify the system.

Personally I think there could be results from such formulas but from what i have seen they can be pretty pricey. I think it could be just as good if you got the herbs for them(get quality herbs) and help them cook it. You could even modify it depending on their symptoms. I beleive this is good because it involves the family/person whoever that is preparing the herbs in the healing. Just like mamas love can trickle into dinner so it can with herbal preparations. In terms of diet see if she can get some cassava it contains vitamin b17 also in xiang ren which attacks cancerous cells. Apart from that mental imagery focusing on positive energy white light whatever in the areas of concern. Sounds wacky but shown to help in cancer patients.

Good luck.
I thought therefore i was

Thanks very much for that Acupunk. I have a feeling though that she may have to cough up the cash for the ready made herbs as she has to take them overseas and I am not sure whether they allow raw herbs in (you may recall the EU regulation on chinese herbs). What you said doesn't sond wacky at all, in fact, I couldn't agree more.
