Don't worry Carole, you certainly aren't alone in the looney bin family.

This is just a guess Sanbasan, but you don't really know a great deal about research do you? Since when are there no reliable tools for measuring subjective change?

Oh no, Luke, Sandbasan must know a LOT about research he/she quotes it in so many of his/her other posts to support his/her argument!!! :roll:

1. It's not personal. Ever.
2. It's not about lack of measuring "tools" for the subjective, it's about the institutional aversion to use them within their walls. If (and that's a big IF with no further deatails) one Australian institution is taking a positive step, beautiful, but that's only one.
However complicated, any problem can be reduced to one word: yīnyáng.

One of the great things about online forums is that I can parade my ignorance with the greatest of pride and base all my comments on loosely founded opinion rather than fact.
