Swansea Acupuncture Project
treatment roomSwansea Acupuncture Project (SAP) aims to provide an effective and responsive acupuncture service at a sliding cost, so that it is affordable to all members of society.
SAP was started by Alex Wood in 2007. After working on several affordable community acupuncture clinics in London and Brighton, he decided to take these pioneering and successful models and set up SAP.
The clinic was hosted by Caer Las Housing Association at the Connect Project- a day center for adults with long term mental health difficulties. Alex offered treatment at a sliding cost enabling Connect members, staff and the general public the opportunity to experience and benefit from Chinese Medicine.
